This luxury two-bedroom, ground-floor apartment is perfect to accommodate up to five guests travelling together.
The apartment is within a Victorian house from the 1850s, but the interior is sublimely modern and spacious, and comes with all the amenities you could possibly need on your vacation.
The family who let out this apartment actually live on the two floors above, so they’re always on hand if needed, (but won’t bother you during your stay).
You’ll have access to the shared family garden and can sit and relax with your morning coffee or evening beverage choice on the comfortable patio furniture outside.

This property is one of the best places to stay near Bray if you’re looking for something a little more budget-friendly.
It comes with everything you might need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, an iron and hairdryer, one double bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living area. This property is the ideal accommodation for couples or small families.
The Enchanting Vistas is nestled between the Little Sugarloaf Mountains and Bray Head, providing incredible views in every direction.
If you’re the outdoorsy type, this place is simply perfect. You’ll have walking trails right on your doorstep, as well as bikes available to use, so you can head off for the day and explore all that Wicklow nature has to offer.
Whatever you do, do not miss the sun setting behind the mountains. On a clear summer’s day, the sky lights up in a spectrum of oranges, pinks and reds – it’s truly breathtaking and you have to see it to believe it.

The Wilton Hotel in Bray is located about 2km from Bray’s seafront promenade. If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s a little further away from the hustle and bustle, this could be the one for you.
The hotel has its own on-site restaurant and lounge, and the common areas are beautifully decorated in a modern and stylish way.
Guests rave about the hotel staff, who are incredibly friendly and helpful and can assist you with booking tours or tickets for any activities or attractions you may want to do.
Whilst the Wilton Hotel may not have sea views, it more than makes up for it with its lush green surroundings. Couples especially love the Wilton Hotel Bray as it’s a wonderful place to take a breather. This is one of the more romantic places to stay in Bray.

This accommodation takes first place when it comes to places to stay near Bray.
This spectacular country house is tucked away between the foot of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains on just over 2.5 acres of land.
The Nook is the perfect place to stay if you’re in search of a rural retreat.
It can accommodate up to 5 people, making it ideal for a family or group of friends, (although you should note that this isn’t a party house).
The property comprises of three large bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and 2.5 bathrooms, as well as a separate laundry area.
Oh, and get this – it’s even got a tennis court for those more energetic days.
The owners have a greenhouse and vegetable patch and are happy to take you around on a tour of the garden. Keep an eye out for their two adorable dogs who love to meet guests.
There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained during your stay here – think hiking the nearby trails, cycling along the Wicklow Way, and fishing in one of the many rivers and lakes. You can also explore the surrounding area of Rathmichael, including Pucks’s Castle ruins, the old church and Rathmichael woods.

Recently renovated, the Firefly has a quirky young vibe that makes it one of the coolest places to stay in Bray.
The hotel is located just 650 meters from Bray Beach and a 2-minute walk to Bray’s main street, making it super convenient if you’re looking to explore all that Bray has to offer.
Mosey across Main Street to McGettigan’s Bar for some great food and an even better atmosphere.
The 18 rooms are small but perfectly formed, and are colourfully decorated with artwork by local artists.
It’s the first ‘automated accommodation’ in Ireland, meaning that you can check in and out using your phone, (it’s actually your key!). That means no waiting, you can come and go as you please, and you never have to queue – my kind of hotel.
Although you can manage the majority of your stay yourself, you don’t have to fend for yourself. The staff are still on hand 24/7 should you need anything at all, even if you don’t necessarily see them.
The Firefly is a great place to stay for couples, solo travellers, or even for those on business trips as there’s free and fast WiFi, and a dedicated workspace available in rooms.

9. Adorable Studio Cabin
Last up is another of my favourite places to stay near Bray, (I can have more than one favourite!). You’ll understand why once you see this really cute studio pod.
The modern cabin is bright and airy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay; featuring a fully fitted kitchen, including a dishwasher, a double bed, and a large shower.
Outside is the main event. Rolling hills and fields for miles make it the perfect place to truly be one with nature.
The cabin is only a 15 minutes drive from Bray town centre, so although you’re never far from civilisation, it feels like you’re a world away.

10. The Strand Hotel
The Strand Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Bray if you’re after a little luxury. It’s also the best place to stay in Bray if you’re looking for some history.
This hotel was once the home of Oscar Wilde, the famous Irish poet and playwright, and you can definitely feel a sense of his eccentricity throughout the property.
The hotel has been modernised and updated over the years, but it still retains its original charm.
Located right on the seafront, you can wake up to stunning sea views every morning and enjoy a front-row seat to Bray’s famous sunrise.
You’ll be a little spoilt for choice when it comes to food and drink here – the Strand Hotel is home to The Curry Leaf, Wilde’s Restaurant, Wilde’s Bar, and Ireland’s first Caffe Vergnano, (the infamous Italian coffee brand).
If you’re up for a hike, the Strand Hotel is located at the foot of the Bray Head Cliff Walk. And if you wish to head into Dublin city without having to drive through the notoriously busy city traffic, the DART, (Dublin’s Light Rail System). runs right past the hotel.
